Bedrooms and Studios Part 1

Even before having a room and any studio equipment I was downstairs in the hallway crammed in between the hamsters and the closet.
Not really making my own music yet, but mostly listening to music and making mix-tapes. Without internet things were different, I wonder what would have happened when we had something like Soundcloud back then.

My First Synth

Here it is, my first synth(organ)! I must have been 10 years old and I never really did anything with it so we eventually gave it back to the people we got it from. Who would have known 20 years later I’d be addicted to these things?

Welcome to The World of Paul. The place where my activities, music, videos and goodies will live under one roof.

For the past few years now I have been using only social networks to connect to the online world. They are fun to use and the feedback I get means a lot to me. But sometimes it feels like I have more to share than a sentence and a link to a videoclip or picture, and sometimes there’s more to say than 140 characters.

I’m sure that for most people following my adventures online it’s more than enough to see a tweet or a shout every few days, but I’m sure there are some friends that enjoy reading some more. So for those people, and of course for my own pleasure, I am going to start writing on my own site. We’ll see where it takes me. Free tracks or edits, studio insights, travel stories, recommendations,… Who knows what might happen!
